WHO WE ARE
Our Founding Partner Nick Gengozian started Signature Edition, Inc. in 2015 while working as Principal Advisor to Solid Image Flooring, Inc. Nick has been working as a certified craftsman for over two decades and is recognized as an accomplished professional in the Colorado custom interior and woodworking industry. Providing the highest quality materials and craftsmanship on every project is our goal.
ABOUT NICK
Founding Partner & Lead Craftsman
I knew I wanted to carry on the family legacy of woodwork when I was only 10 years old, and I’ve been servicing clients with the finest craftsmanship for over 20 years. I began my first formal apprenticeship at age 16 with a family owned and operated company in Colorado. Three years later, I was awarded a position with Colorado’s biggest flooring construction company after proving my competency in the trade. I established my own flooring business with my father at age 22, and a decade and 2 million in growth later, Signature Edition was born.
Throughout my 20+ years of experience, I’ve applied my skills to various areas of construction from track home residential projects to commercial space installations, and all the way up to custom and luxury properties. Regardless of the space, I aim to produce the finest results. I expanded my trade skills beyond hardwood to stone and tile in 2009, cabinetry and trim in 2015, and metalwork in 2020 when I graduated from welding school. With my skills and knowledge, I have been able to bring to life my client’s visions for remodels and additions. I established Signature Edition after 20 years of experience because I feel driven to provide the best quality available at standards that surpass industry expectations.
OUR PRODUCTS & METHODS
Over the years of doing business with Palo Duro Hardwoods, Austin Hardwoods, and other manufacturers, we have been provided with excellent customer service from each of the representatives we deal with on a daily basis. We count on our chosen vendors to deliver materials with a structural guarantee and product warranty. We only deal with companies who stand behind their products and provide honest information for the benefit of our clients.
We utilize Lagler machines and sanding techniques with certifications provided by Lagler’s Denver office. We maintain a Premium Sanding Technology (“PST”) certification and strictly utilize customized standing techniques and services. We do this because it achieves a superior smooth, piano-top finish that far surpasses industry competitors.
